    About the role and who we are looking for

    We are looking for an enthusiastic Permanent Part Time Chef to work at our Senior Living site (Selwyn Village) based in the heart of the city - Pt Chevalier.

    We are seeking someone who wants to showcase their appetite for focusing on delivering fresh and nutritional meals within an aged care environment.

    Hours of work are Saturday to Tuesday 09 : 15 - 17 : 15.

    You will be responsible for :

  • Preparing, baking, cooking and presenting mouth-watering and innovative meals for our residents,
  • Overseeing the daily dietary requirements, temperature monitoring and compliance to food safety, health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain an allergen awareness and present options for nutritional healthy eating
  • Ideal skills and experience you will :

  • be a people person, have good time management and able work under pressure.
  • be an all-rounder in the kitchen with experience in baking and bulk home / kiwi style cooking.
  • have an eye for detail and be able to work independently and confidently.
  • most importantly demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality!

    Please note that a full security clearance and police vet is required.
