Enable New Zealand a part of the MidCentral District Health Board provides assistive technology, information and services to support disabled people to live everyday lives in their communities.

The head office is located in Palmerston North, with sites in Christchurch and Hamilton. The Opportunity

In this role you will be responsible for leading and managing administrative support for Enable New Zealand to the highest quality through excellent customer focused relationship management, systems management and office management services.

You will proactively deliver senior administrative support to members of Enable New Zealand to the highest quality through excellent customer focused relationship management, systems management and office management services. Key Accountabilities

  • Provide high quality administrative support
  • Lead the administration support team
  • Provide project support when required
  • Manage and coordinate the casual staff pool
  • Develop and maintain key internal and external relationships
  • What you’ll bring

  • Significant experience in providing high level senior administration support, preferably in the public service.
  • Leadership and management of team members, able to mentor, guide and delegate.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining quality office systems is essential.
  • Superior computer literacy and skills, including all Microsoft products is essential.
  • Time management and work management skills are essential.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including excellent listening skills.
  • The ability to relate to a wide variety of people with consideration and diplomacy is essential.
  • High-level attention to detail, presentation layout and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of the Health and Disability Sector is desirable. What you will get in return
