This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Comprehensive Nurse to join our multi-disciplinary team at the Regional Rangatahi inpatient Service (RRAIS), based at Kenepuru campus.

The Rangatahi Unit is a 12 bed mental health acute unit that provides a service for adolescents who are experiencing an acute episode of mental illness.

RRAIS is one of three adolescent inpatient services in New Zealand. It is a regional service for the lower North Island providing for adolescents from the Wellington region up to and including Gisborne.

We are a dynamic and enthusiastic team with a passion for providing specialist assessment and treatment to, Rangatahi and their Whanau aged 13 to 17 years inclusive.

We provide a Therapeutic Day Programme which designed to meet the needs of the Rangatahi experiencing an acute episode of mental illness.

Our service is Whanau focused and Whanau will be included in all aspects of treatment where appropriate.
