rnrnThe Position : To achieve sales targets by maintaining and developing business relationships with new and existing customers.

rnrnProducts : High quality laboratory consumables and small instruments. rnrnYour experience : rnrnYou will have some experience of sales with excellent communication skills, enthusiasm, self-motivation and determination.

You could be a Science (related) Graduate looking to break into the life science / laboratory sales sector. In addition you must be well organised with the ability to manage your time to deliver on all your tasks.

Previous experience within the Life Science / laboratory field within the territory would be an advantage but is not essential.

rnrnThe role : rnrnYou will be selling tailor-made product solutions for the most varied areas of use, including molecular biology, biochemistry and cell biology.

You will be selling into hospital laboratories, research establishments and laboratories in pharmaceutical companies. Dealing with laboratory managers, MLSOs and purchasing managers.

Developing long term business relationships is a vital part of the role. You will be uncovering new business opportunities and managing existing accounts on the territory.

  • rnrnKey Responsibilities : rnrnrnTo achieve sales targets. rnTo build, develop and exploit profitable relationships with all current and potential customers within the assigned territory;
  • rnTo ensure professional standards of customer service and support at all times; rnTo ensure effective journey planning and time management;
  • rnImprove ‘face to face’ selling time by means of efficient planning and appointments; rnGather customer intelligence and feedback to enable a proactive participation in product enhancement and new product development;
  • rnTo monitor and report changes in market trends and competitor activities; rnTo organise and attend local exhibitions, and to attend national exhibitions when required;
  • rnTo maintain customer records within the territory; rnTo ensure all literature, presenters and other business material is presented in a professional manner and that it is current and fit for purpose;
  • rnProvide requests of product samples and quotations for customers; rnrn
