The Centralised Equipment Team was established 6 months ago and is responsible for the tracking and retrieval of rental equipment for patients across allied health and community district nursing at Waitematā DHB.

This role will be part time (24 hours per week) working Tuesday to Friday.This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Centralised equipment team, to work alongside another therapy assistant and the lead clinician in a supported team environment.

Tasks include maintaining data in the tracking system from the time equipment is ordered to confirming its collection. This involves data entry, problem solving, decision making, and coordination of processes.

Your role will include liaising with patients, families and colleagues across the organisation and the equipment service provider.

The successful applicant will ideally have experience working with older adults and be familiar with processes within the hospital and / or community environment.

Our preferred candidate will ideally have knowledge of the use of adaptive equipment to maximise independence and safety in the community.
