Civil and Structural Engineer- Intermediate / Senior

Our client is a leading Power Consultancy Company within the New Zealand industry and well known for providing specialised services to clients nation-wide.
Due to growth and internal movements they are looking for an experienced Civil and Structural Engineer to join their team to work on projects within the Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution space.
About the role :
As the Civil & Structural Engineer, you will be required to lead civil and structural designs for substation and power station projects.
Other key tasks include :
Arrange, manage, and carry out onsite inspections and investigations
Lead the design process,from analysis, conceptual designs , calculations and quality assurance.
To be successful in this role, you will require :
Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering
Working experience in Civil and Structural Engineering with seismic, construction monitoring and industrial experience
Experience working within Power preferred but not essential
Knowledge of the NZ construction codes and standards
Experienced in technical report writing
Ability and keen interest to mentor younger engineers
