    Waitemata District Health Board has a position for a Clinical Nurse Specialist, to become a member of our highly motivated, experienced and supportive advanced practice nursing team, led by our Nurse Practitioner.

    Experience in nursing people with palliative care needs, or at end of life, is essential along with the ability to undertake a comprehensive nursing assessment.

    Strong interpersonal skills together with the ability to advise and support others, and provide training and education, are key components of this exciting and challenging role.

    Liaison with community providers is also an integral part of the role and essential for patients’ smooth transition between primary, secondary and tertiary services.
