As the Executive Assistant to the Executive General Manager of Customer Experience you will build and manage the systems that bring the team together and help them to achieve their objectives.

The work is challenging, varied and meaningful, and you'll be supported by a great team who are constantly finding new ways to improve the experience for Aucklanders on our network.

You will perform a diverse range of functions, including but not limited to, diary management, presentation and report preparation, and supporting the wider operational team, as well as engaging with key stakeholders and business partners.

An experienced executive partner, you will be confident in your abilities and build credibility easily with all levels. You are someone that gets things done, as well as a natural curiosity to embrace and be part of the bigger picture to support strategic goals.

An expert in the Microsoft Office 365 suite you will be comfortable operating in a digital environment and take a high level of pride in your work for both internal and external interactions.

You will be someone who personally invests themselves in contributing to the team culture.

Skills that will help you to be successful in this role include :

  • 5+ years' experience in an Executive Assistant or senior administrator role
  • Board support experience
  • Highly developed organisational skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail, proofreading and editing skills - essential for preparation of Board papers (and preparing papers and business plans)
  • High level of computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Teams
  • High level of confidentiality, discretion and professionalism
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Ability to communicate with numerous stakeholders and build relationships at a senior level
  • Proactive, energetic and positive
  • Service-oriented and a passion for going the extra mile
