We seek an enthusiastic, dynamic, proactive, and detail focused administrator to provide outstanding experiences and service to tauira (learners) and staff in the School of Occupational Therapy.
The successful candidate will provide administration support to the Fieldwork Team.
Our preferred candidate will be a highly organised, experienced, committed person who is looking for a challenging role.
This person will have highly developed interpersonal skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, a positive and productive team attitude including the drive to be a highly functioning member of a self-managing team.
Prior knowledge and experience of working within an area that involves allocation of student placements would be advantageous.
Excellent skills in word processing, and competency with spreadsheet and database use is essential, as are multitasking skills, strong problem solving abilities and the ability to manage time effectively along with an active commitment to ensuring that timely services of the highest quality are consistently provided.
A relevant qualification in office administration at level 4 or equivalent experience in business administration is required.
A tertiary qualification at Bachelor degree level is preferred but not essential.
An understanding of cultural diversity and the ability to work with a variety of customers, along with familiarity of the tertiary education sector would be an advantage.
Preferred hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3pm, however this can be negotiated.
