The Starship Blood and Cancer Centre at Starship Hospital are seeking a new team member to join the established and high-
functioning Clinical Research Associate (CRA) team as an industry-focused CRA. We have a 0.4 FTE role available - days and hours will be negotiated within this to meet successful applicants’ needs where possible.
This role reports directly to the Research Manager and the team is situated within the clinical area.
This challenging role includes all aspects of industry clinical trial management from feasibility, through the recruitment and active phases, and to close out.
This role will work alongside the existing fabulous CRA team, with similar but separate responsibilities, but with the potential for some role crossover where needed.
The CRA team members play a key part in the clinical functioning of the Starship Blood and Cancer Centre due to the importance of clinical trial activity in this specialty.
The successful candidate must hold a tertiary degree in health or science, and have previous clinical trials co-ordination experience.
Personal attributes sought for successful appointment are an enthusiastic and collaborative attitude, the ability to cope with competing and variable demands, a high degree of attention to detail, and strong organisational and written / verbal communication skills.
