We are looking for a Senior Solicitor to join the Banking and Financial Services team in Wellington.
This is a busy practice area where you'll be involved in a range of challenging, interesting, and significant work. Experience with financial services regulatory issues is a prerequisite. You will be comfortable operating within the public sector regulatory framework and have a background in general banking from another top tier law firm or financial institution.
Applicants may also be considered with experience in a smaller practice with good skills and a strong ambition to step up a level.
You will have at least 5+ years' experience, with a commercial approach, strong academics, and technical skills, together with excellent communication skills that enable you to develop strong relationships.
You should also enjoy mentoring junior members of staff and be demonstrating leadership qualities, as well as enjoy participating in business development activities.
