We are seeking an organised, multi-tasking extraordinaire to drive an exceptional service at CARTERS Papakura. The Dispatch Manager role plays a pivotal part in our drive to deliver a consistently reliable level of service to our customers.
With responsibility for coordinating the day-to-day transportation requirements of the Branch, this position promises to bring the challenge of juggling multiple tasks and requests to include the below :
Managing the loading and dispatch of customer orders ensuring we deliver a quality service and products on time
Prioritising, scheduling and following-up truck deliveries to site
Overseeing the operation of our distribution function
Customer Service and working closely with other areas of the Branch
Occasional heavy lifting

The foundations to this role will see you demonstrating the below skill set :
A motivated and conscientious team player who takes pride in exceeding customer expectations
A skilled supervisor who is adept at managing their time, with proven ability to work well under pressure and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
A true knack for detail, great communication skills and a flexible approach to your work
Happy to take a hands-on approach as some heavy lifting may be required
Computer literate and not afraid to learn new systems and processes
A current F endorsement (forklift) licence and OSH accredited forklift certificate would be advantageous
Exposure to the building industry or frames and truss would be an advantage but not a requirement
