    About the Team

    We are a small and efficient team based across our Dunedin and Southland sites working in an open plan office environment.

    You will be working alongside and supporting managers and other members of the administration team within our busy and friendly Facilities and Property service.

    About the Role

    As Building and Property Administration Support, you will be the first person our visitors, contractors and colleagues have contact with when they walk in the door.

    We are looking for a friendly, outgoing individual to act as the coordination point for our busy team and to provide excellent customer service to ensure the smooth running of our department.

    We offer a fun work environment with regular work hours of 8 : 00am 4 : 30pm Monday to Friday.

    Some key focus areas of your role will be (but are not limited to) :

  • To undertake Helpdesk administration duties, including answering the phone
  • Providing efficient and timely administration support to the wider team as required
  • Be a friendly welcome point for visitors
  • Maintaining purchase orders, including raising and receipting
  • Being the go-to problem solver
  • It is a busy dynamic environment, and we need somebody that is able to work both on their own tasks in hand but is also a good team player.

    About You

    Our ideal candidate will need to be easy going, unflappable and flexible to the changing needs of our service. support to the wider admin team when required.

    We would love it if you bring :

  • Some customer service or administration experience
  • A people focus with a love of dealing with a variety of people face to face, on the phone and on email
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft suite
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • A natural curiosity and interest in building, property and trades-related issues might be useful but above all we are looking for someone who can roll with it, learn quickly, and maintain a good sense of humour.
