    We are seeking an experienced leader with exceptional organisational skills, emotional intelligence and resourcefulness to lead our team.

    As our Team Coach you will have experience and passion for working in mental health, including leadership. You will be drawing on your expertise from a range of treatment modalities to provide therapeutic interventions in supporting recovery to adults in residential supported accommodation.

    You will be working full time, 40 hours per week, in Hamilton East.

    Monday Friday, 8.30am- 5.00pm

    As a Team Coach, you will be part of the local leadership team, attend regular meetings and Team Coach trainings. You will also be part of the rostered after-hours service on a rotating basis.

    The Team

    You’ll be reporting to the Service and Relationship Manager and leading a team of Support Workers at one of our residential supported accommodation services.

    This service is a community service supporting people with a lived experience of mental health and addiction. You will provide regular coaching and be focused on inspiring every member of your team to exceed their personal best in everything they do.

    The ideal candidate will have leadership experience and experience working in the mental health and addictions sector. They will be competent working as a cohesive team in challenging situations and be willing to work through a Te Ao Māori lens.

    This will be a challenging and varied role; the service will be fast paced at times and at other times will require you to bring your initiative.

    Our ideal candidate :

  • Leadership experience with excellent interpersonal, skills, problem-solving abilities and the ability to challenge, inspire, influence, and coach your team.
  • Ability to work well with other services such as DHBs, PHOs, and the wider community and social sector
  • Strong commitment to a recovery focused framework
  • Ability to develop and sustain working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Knowledge and understanding of Te Ao Māori
