About the team and the role We are looking for an experienced project delivery and / or product management specialist, to support the strategy and growth of the Auckland Project, Programme and Portfolio (P3M) community.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the shaping and delivery of engagements across Deloitte’s broad client base to meet their desired outcomes. Typical engagements include;
Advisory in relation to implementation, adoption or improvement of Project Delivery and Product Management related methodologies and effective delivery techniques
Establishing and leading Agile delivery and product practices adoption, through to Delivery execution in complex enterprise environments
Benchmarking and measuring maturity, developing and executing improvement plans
Establishing and or operating lean portfolios on behalf of Deloitte or its clients
Consulting, assessment and assurance of projects, programmes or portfolios to review pre-commencement readiness or in-flight delivery, through to conclusion and post implementation reviews.
Enough about us, let’s talk about you You are someone with experiences in : Service Delivery
Has full responsibility at the delivery level for preparation and execution of the project approach and plan, leveraging Deloitte methodologies and best practice
Management of human resources, finance, reporting, planning, contract management and delivery including risk, issues, assumptions and dependencies
Ensure quality management principles are applied to delivery and processes undertaken as required
Full responsibility to maintain and continuously improve high service standards for internal and external clients
Contribute to the development and growth of the service offering and always operate to best practice standards
Consistent compliance with quality management systems and with project audits
Lead and participate in project tendering, briefing, negotiations and appointment of project consultants on behalf of Deloitte and our clients as required People
Be a leader who promotes a strong team culture and good communication
Encourage and foster diverse views and opinions for inclusion in all aspects of how the team delivers and works together
Ensuring all team members are fully effective in their roles, and are engaged in ongoing development through training
Regular support with clear direction for team members, as well as annual personal development reviews
Support recruitment of new team members Clients
Actively manages high quality client delivery and nurtures ongoing relationships
Leads teams to positively represent the company to the client and external stakeholders
Works with the management team to identify, tender for and secure new business
Build personal networks to develop new business from existing and desired clients Qualifications
5+ years’ project and / or product management experience
Demonstratable experience delivering within agile frameworks and operating models
Relevant Agile Delivery and or Product certifications
Proven ability to participate or lead business development activities
Professional attitude to work
Takes on a leadership role across a number of simultaneous projects
Experience in management and development of employees
