Part Time (0.6FTE) / Permanent role Full time, fixed term for 3 months

Health Care Assistants (HCAs) are an integral part of our team, working closely with midwifery and nursing staff to provide clinical and non-clinical assistance to patients, ensuring a consistently high quality of care is received.

In addition to patient care, responsibilities include general duties to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the unit.

The Birthing & Assessment Unit is looking for a Health Care Assistant to join their close knit team. They offer a friendly, supportive environment with a great team of experienced midwives and HCAs who provide education to develop your clinical skills.

You will have a strong commitment to providing patient focused care as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A team player with strong organisational and time management skills, you will be adaptable, open to change and able to relate well to people from a variety of backgrounds and cultures.

You would be joining our dynamic multi-disciplinary team with experience providing care for woman in our culturally diverse community.

You will be required to work rostered shifts including morning, afternoons and nights.

Essential Requirements :

  • Health Care Assistant Level 4 Qualification
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Good command of verbal and written English
  • At least 1 years experience in a large hospital setting
