Payroll Officer The Role As the Payroll Officer you will be responsible for providing support across the endtoend process of the monthly New Zealand and US payroll as well as other administrative duties as described below Your responsibilities will include but not limited to Provide all payroll changes to external payroll providers for processing Check data entry of employee and payroll information by external providers to ensure it is accurate and it is actioned in a prompt manner Reconcile payroll clearing and related accounts on a monthly basis Respond to all payroll and user admin queries in a courteous and professional manner ensuring all queries receive a response within 24 hours Escalate as required Provide monthend leave reporting and assist with other reporting required by the business Attend monthly account meetings and other meetings with external providers as required The Person This role would suit someone with the following skills and experience Sound knowledge of NZ payroll legislation including the Holiday Act Proficient in all Microsoft Office products Experience with payroll packages an advantage Prior payroll experience of at least three years expected High attention to detail is critical required The Benefits Aside from offering a great job in a great city with an awesome team we offer ongoing support and development for your future career growth an awesome social calendar weekly social gatherings team sports events a focus on health and wellbeing including a flexible Work from Home program sporting teams discounted health insurance and much more Apply online today for further information
