  • label eco-systems globally.This role will deliver on key product objectives, including; development and evolution of a design system that delivers aesthetically and functionally rewarding journeys for users across the 9 Spokes platform;
  • research and prototyping of innovative new feature and product designs that position 9 Spokes at the forefront of its market;
  • and a relentless drive for greater speed, simplicity and scalability to ensure that the design of 9 Spokes product makes it supremely accessible, useable and valued by millions of small businesses around the world! As the in-

    house expert of UX you will collaborate closely with key stakeholders across the business and externally to understand business objectives, user needs and behaviours and design aspects that could be improved.

    In this role you will need to engage actively with Product Managers, Developers, Marketing, Customer Success and Engineering as well as with Enterprise Customers and small business users -

    both existing and prospective.ResponsibilitiesLead the overall design direction for the 9 Spokes user experience across both direct-

    to-market and white-label platformConduct UX research and usability testing to ensure designs are user centric and targeting well understood needsDevelop and evolve the design system for the 9 Spokes experience ensuring products are world-

  • class, competitive and deliver rewarding journeys for users, both aesthetically and functionally, whilst enabling 9 Spokes to scale rapidly and efficientlyProduce wireframes, clickable prototypes, concept sketches, interaction designs and user flows using key toolsDevelop & collaborate new design ideas aligned to business objectives and innovative concepts that continue to push the boundaries and position 9 Spokes at the forefront of the market whilst aligning to and enhancing the 9 Spokes brandAchieve the right balance between developing a distinctive experience for 9 Spokes users that sets the product apart whilst discerning appropriately when to not 'reinvent the wheel' by leveraging best practice approaches and design elements that are market proven;
  • supporting 9 Spokes' objective to move at speedParticipate in or lead Design Sprint sessions to unearth and accelerate generation of compelling new concepts -

    from ideation to testable prototypesRequired Experience5 years+ UX design experience and clear evidence of compelling and successful UX / UI designs (SaaS experience preferred)Proficient in wire-

    framing and producing concept sketches and user flowsExperience in Sketch, InVision and Adobe toolsDeep understanding of how design systems are built and workExtensive knowledge of UX best practice design and responsive designExperience in HTML, CSS and JavascriptGiven the small size of the team, many of the key accountabilities will be shared within the team and the Lead UX Designer is expected to be an important driver in the delivery of the accountabilities.
