we can't wait to hear from you!Joining MercyAscot as a Supply Chain Inventory Coordinator, you will enjoy interaction with staff members in all parts of the organisation.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in what they do and has Customer Service as their second nature. For the right person there will be opportunities to step up and handle more responsibilities.
Main duties of the role will include : Ensuring effective day-to-day management of supply chain stock into clinical areasOrdering and maintaining stock levelsDelivery and routine maintenance of storage areas / stockThis role will form an important part of a team of 4, working closely with the Supply Chain Inventory Manager across Mercy Hospital in Epsom and Ascot Hospital in Remuera.
This is a permanent full-time position (40 hours per week), working hours across Monday to Friday with occasional overtime during stock-
taking period.Our ideal candidate will have : Previous supply chain or warehouse experience, familiarity with Healthcare setting is a bonusCompletion of a Warehouse & Distribution course (or equivalent) is highly desirableSound understanding of Supply Chain process and manual handlingPhysical fitness and flexibility to work across different sitesStrong communications skills and confidence dealing with people at all levelsBasic to Intermediate MS Office skills (testing will be part of the recruitment process)Most of all -
