Looking for an opportunity to develop your HR knowledge? We are seeking an HR Administrator to join our People and Culture team.

As the HR Administrator, you will play an essential role supporting our HR advisors, recruitment advisors, and staff and managers across our 2 DHBs with a range of functions that fall within our end-to-end HR process.

On a daily basis your responsibilities may include caring for staff personnel files, arranging recruitment interviews, managing work requests and queries, and running processes such as staff vetting and service certificates.

We re also in the process of moving to online systems so you ll need to be comfortable with technology.

The Systems and Information team are the awesome engine room for our HR services. We have team members in both our main hospitals, Wellington and Hutt, so we can collaborate with our colleagues.

There s plenty of work to keep us busy, sometimes with tight deadlines, as well as regular activities that we maintain from week to week.

We pride ourselves on being customer focused, delivering to the needs of both the services and the organisation, growing as individuals and a team, at the same time having fun!

The wider People & Capability Service at 2DHB is responsible for supporting managers on all aspects of the workforce, learning and development, organisational development, culture and human resources.

People Systems and Information group provides central employee life-cycle systems, processes and services. This includes the recruitment team, personnel records and centralised transaction services.

There is a focus on enabling self-service or single-interaction systems, process and tools for managers, employees, and P&C

To succeed in our team, you ll pride yourself on your customer service, your ability to learn and flex, attention to detail, and energy.

We re in the process of moving to online systems so you ll need to be comfortable with technology.

Skills and experience :

  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Good IT skills including knowledge of MS Office applications Word, Excel, Power point
  • Ability to pick up and use other IT systems with training
  • Good interpersonal skills able to work positively with diverse groups and individuals
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
