Based at our Penrose Corporate head office, you will be joining our NZ Payroll Team as part of our wider Group Finance & Performance team, which has oversight for performance management, financial control, corporate office income & expenditure, settlements, treasury accounting, and is a key interface across the group from a finance perspective.
The purpose of this role is to act as an interface between the NZ Payroll team part of Finance, Strategy and Performance Unit ( FSP ) and other Fletcher Building Business Units ( BU’s ) and / or departments to deliver finance tasks and projects which enable operational efficiencies to Payroll Processes and BU’s.
As Payroll Business Analyst you will project manage new process changes / enhancements including, where appropriate design of and testing of new functionalities.
About You To be successful in the role you will have a history of leading and supporting successful payroll projects in a large complex organisation with high volume transactions and multiple ERP systems.
You will have strong ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions. Along with your proven expertise in eliciting requirements and testing, it is important you bring with you a strong business analyst skillset with payroll systems and integration experience.
With an analytical mindset and solid problem-solving capabilities, you will have incredible attention to detail as you produce high quality output with pride and optimal presentation.
You will be someone who effectively copes with change as you respond appropriately to different situations, people and ideas.
You must be confident using Qlik Sense and other Power BI reporting tools to dynamically create visualisations of large sets of data that are digestible to the unknowing eye.
