    Medirest is our healthcare brand providing specialist food, hospitality and support services to residents and patients in hospitals, aged care and senior living facilities throughout New Zealand.

    So, that's a little bit about what we do, now to 'what will you be doing with us?'

    We are currently looking for passionate, enthusiastic, and customer centric Full Time Catering Associates to join our brilliant team at our Auckland City Hospital.

    These are full time roles for shifts between 07 : 00 - 15 : 00, rostered across 7 days a week.

    Your responsibilities :

    In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring effective and efficient meal delivery service up in the wards along with other related responsibilities such as assisting with the preparing and presenting of food, maintaining clean & tidy dining / kitchen areas and providing warm, friendly and welcoming customer service to all.

    This role requires a pro-active approach to safety and utilisation of all of the safety equipment and procedures provided by Compass Group.

    Essential requirements for the roles are :

  • Customer service or kitchen / catering experience
  • Ability to travel to Auckland Central (Auckland City Hospital) on a regular basis
  • Hold a valid NZ work permit (no conditions), NZ residency or NZ citizen
