The Opportunity As a Geospatial Data Engineer you will work within our geospatial team, leading the design and implementation of complex data integration projects using a suite of ETL tools and technology whilst helping to grow ETL awareness and knowledge within the team.
The role encompasses data management, development of spatial and non-spatial tools and maintenance of the same in the Water, Roading, Construction and related-industry sectors, including system and field support and deployment in New Zealand and Australia using the latest Esri suite of field applications across the ArcGIS Enterprise platform.
In the role you will Work with all sectors within both corporate and regional businesses in New Zealand and Australia, building repeatable, robust and resilient data integrations to help streamline new and existing processes to further support Fulton Hogan’s reputation as a contractor of choice.
You will have ample opportunity to use your knowledge and experience to grow ETL knowledge within the team and the wider business to support data enabled decision-making across all sectors of Fulton Hogan helping to create value in our operational activities across the business.
Our perfect person will . Have proven experience in the execution and design of data integration processes using FME on spatial and non-spatial data (at least 3+ years)Be able to define technical standards, technical guidance, technical support and continuous improvement across various data platforms, while inspiring and growing others to achieve their technical potential using the FME Suite of applications.
Be proficient analysing data from various database management systems using SQL.Have a desire to work toward an FME Desktop / Server Certification.
Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in a role utilising similar skillsExcellent PC skills, including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, combined with strong internet / web software, tools and other applications.
Pay attention to the detail and applies risk management in all processes.Highly customer focused.Willing to ask questions and share ideas.
