The opportunityA fantastic opportunity has arisen for an HR Business Partner to join the HR team at Winstone Wallboards. In this role, you will lead, plan, direct and control HR related activities for your designated client group.

In doing so, you will ensure that effective HR strategies and plans are initiated, developed and implemented to support the Winstone Wallboards team.

Reporting to the HR Manager, you will partner with key stakeholders to deliver best practice human resource initiatives. With a focus on talent, change management, employee relations, engagement, capability and performance, you will bring your commercial acumen and strategic thinking to drive the best outcomes for your business unit.

About youYou will be an experienced HR generalist who has worked in large complex organisations and capable of working at pace.

You will possess strategic HR and change management experience with the ability to manage change processes from inception to completion.

Key to your success will be your ability to coach business leaders on people management, performance management, talent management and employee relations to lift capability and improve engagement.

You will also influence through clear communication and alignment of strategy, culture, process, practices, and behaviours.

You will be a strategic thought leader who is seen as a trusted advisor.The successful applicant will ideally possess a tertiary qualification in HR, business or related discipline and a sound knowledge of HR best practice and New Zealand employment legislation.

You will have the confidence to operate autonomously, whilst being part of the wider Fletcher Building business will provide the opportunity to utilise our Centres of Excellence.
