This position plays a key role in fulfilling the requirements of the 'first line of accountability' in the context of risk management.

The purpose of the role is to manage the Risk & Compliance Management reporting requirements, incident management and resolution programme focussing predominately on the People and Culture risk profile.

Day to day you will :

Facilitate the monthly of the Management Assurance reporting for the business unit and escalation of information to the BNZ Executive committees

Facilitate the loading and reporting of incidents in GRACE, root cause analysis and remediation escalation;

Ensure that risks and controls are identified, documented, assessed, managed and reported.

Provide assurance that the appropriate processes are in place to implement and monitor adherence to agreed risk appetite limits;

Using the Group Risk Management framework, maintain a comprehensive register of all current and emerging risks having or expected to have an impact on the business (both internal and external risks).

Assume primary responsibility for the identification, assessment and management of these through the implementation of risk mitigating action plan.

Ō Pūkenga About You

To be successful in this role you will have proven Risk management experience (Ideally 7+ years) in financial services. You will have practical exposure to the full range of the operational risk toolkit, including managing the risk framework, compliance, analysis and reporting.

You will also have the ability to communicate effectively to a wide range of BNZ audiences, including experience in facilitation and up-skilling stakeholders across the business.
