They ensure the chapter members have a strong sense of identity and purpose, embrace the ANZ values, and continually strive for growth, excellence and elegance in execution.
Engineering Manager, Integration provide strong technical leadership, drive innovation, set standards, and insist on continuous improvement of skills, processes and technologies.
Engineering Manager, Integration also work as a Squad member for some of their time, so will get involved in hands-on delivery.

Chapter Leads keep a sharp eye on strategic workforce planning and ensure the members of the Chapter have the support and guidance to deliver the current and future goals of the Portfolio.

We are organised into several Chapters, each of which is focused on a particular technology stack / platform, such as Java, .
NET, Node.js, Salesforce, CI / CD & microservices tooling.Together we build the services that enable our customer-facing Internet Banking and goMoney mobile apps, our branch and call centre apps, and we also maintain a rich ecosystem of APIs and integration services, used both within the bank and externally.
We cover a lot of ground!Role Location : Wellington or Auckland, New ZealandRole Type : PermanentAbout YouAs a Engineering Manager, Integration, you have genuine passion for both people and technology.
You have a strong background in a technical discipline such as development, testing, analysis or architecture. You understand what a strong culture looks and feels like and can cultivate high performing teams.
You have the drive to craft enablement through coaching, mentoring, facilitation and teaching, and have strong relationship management skills as the chapter spans across various Squads and Portfolios.
caring deeply about the personal and professional growth of your team.Must have experience in leadership, whether as line manager or lead member of a team.
Must be a seasoned and highly respected technologist in your field, whether as a developer, tester, analyst, architect or similar.
Experienced delivering complex systems, ideally with exposure to some of the following : Java, Spring Boot, Apex, Node.js, .
NET, microservices and containerisation, Integration and API development, OpenShift, WebSphere, DataPower, Kafka, Salesforce.
Able to coordinate and bring people together to achieve outcomes within the Chapter - you do not always have to have the answer yourself.
