An exciting opportunity has emerged for an enthusiastic and detail focused associate to join our Shopper Marketing team on a 6-9 month secondment basis.
Our Category and Shopper Marketing team is a key link between Sales and Marketing, and is responsible for turning insights into growth opportunities for our key customers and categories.
As our Shopper Activation Specialist you will support our Shopper Activation Manager (Jennelle) with the design & development of national and customer specific activations and materials focused on different touchpoints across the path to purchase in order to drive incremental penetration and ensure brand visibility according to the defined strategy.
You will drive insights led planograms at store level and with our key customers, actively participating in the category development process.
You will play a key part in the measurement and deployment of our operational excellence program, developing reporting suites and tools to assist the sales team to achieve the KPI’s set in the plan.
Job DescriptionShopper MarketingWork collaboratively with sales, marketing and category teams to identify, build and implement shopper growth solutions across our key accountsAlongside the Shopper Activation Manager, project manage all in-store marketing plans for all category / brand activations and innovations, managing and aligning internal stakeholders along the wayWork with our suppliers and shopper agencies to develop and implement ideas to support shopper, category and marketing initiatives with our customers (e.
g mailers, displays, POS), ensuring the cost is within budgetBe responsible for the correct artwork as per the marketing briefSupport the Marketing and Category team with communication in retail magazinesShelf ManagementLead our shelf management process at store and with our key customers, developing insights led planograms that mutually benefit JDE and the customer.
This service will also be supported by our Category Specialist where required.Build relationships with the retailer space management teams and support them with a shelf management serviceDeliver best in class sell in presentations, presenting strong rationale & opportunity for changeComplete the cycle by analyzing and reporting on results, providing rationale for changeUsing space planning software, prepare layout proposals at store level utilizing insights to drive category and brand growthDevelop knowledge and skillset of field sales team on space management principles & strategyManagement of our image databasesOPEX (Operational Excellence)Support the in-store workstream, defining and monitoring key OPEX KPI’s per customer.
Including shelf layout / JDE position & share of shelf, OOS’s & display guidelinesAssist with the development of E-OPEX (E-commerce) workstream to deliver on CASA principles and lead online growth with our customersDevelop tools and reporting mechanisms to successfully deploy and embed OPEX initiativesReport measurement of KPI’s to key stakeholders quarterlyDevelopment of schematics across various banners / store sizes to be used by the field sales teamReport key achievements / challenges through the IBP meeting cyclesAssist in training of the category specialist, to ensure alignment of outputsProjectsAssist with other projects as requiredQualificationsApart from being able to fulfill the above duties, we are needing you to.
