Description This is a full time permanent (civ) position
What you will do
We have one permanent and one 1 twelve month fixed term contract Portfolio Planner role available to start in 2021.
As a Portfolio Planner reporting to the Portfolio Manager within our Communications and Information Systems (CIS) Branch, you’ll be responsible for supporting CIS Branch to prioritise and size proposed work (programmes, projects and work-requests) as inputs into planning activities, business cases, resource planning, and budget development.
and you’ll provide rigour to the prioritisation process by defining work resource requirements.
Working closely with the portfolio and projects team you’ll plan for project delivery and ensure that projects are appropriately prioritised and planned for.
You’ll also contributes to solution development and project scheduling across CIS Branch.
What we need
This is a relationship focussed role requiring highly developed communication and stakeholder management skills. We’re keen to hear from you if you are a results-driven and customer focused project professional with knowledge and technical expertise in project management and / or project delivery.
In particular you will have :
The ability to build sound working relationships; and
Experience in applying multi criteria decision-making frameworks to the evaluation process of projects and programmes.
A relevant qualification containing estimating and forecasting disciplines, or equivalent experience is desirable.
