About the opportunity
Reporting to the Plant Manager and contributing as a member of the Invercargill Operations Team, the Engineering Foreman takes overall accountability for ensuring that engineering production and services meet the requirements of the customers and in turn the objectives of the Yunca business.
In doing this, the Engineering Foreman :
Works closely and collaboratively as a member of the Invercargill Operations Team, developing and executing plans and programmes that achieve business objectives.
Proactively manages relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers of the Engineering Function.
This is a key role supporting the Plant Manager to lead achievement and needs a positive and talented team leader who can get the best out of people and processes. Sound like you?
About you
To be successful as the Engineering Foreman you will have the following qualifications, experience and capability :
A relevant trade or industrial qualification.
Extensive hands-on experience in relevant engineering disciplines in commercial organisations.
Significant experience managing engineering teams.
Proven capability leading compliance with health and safety requirements, ideally in a higher risk or production environment.
A commitment to customer excellence and the ability to build positive stakeholder relationships.
Experience working with an enterprise-wide database or operating system.
