Umapped, a startup company that was acquired by Flight Centre Travel Group in 2018 is looking for a skilled and motivated Account Manager to join our data-driven-minded team.

Our office is located in the trendy area of Queen west steps away from the AGO, local shops, and restaurants that make up Toronto’s creative heart.

Umapped develops and operates a digital travel management platform that helps travel companies engage and communicate with their customers before, during and after their trips.

The company services leading travel agencies, brands and suppliers across 17 countries and has a large customer base in Canada, the US, Australia and New Zealand.

Each year, more than 2 million travellers from around the world use our product providing a significant data set for which to optimize at scale.

Umapped is the global travel industry-leading B2B2C trip management technology platform.

At Umapped, we continue to evolve our platform connecting every part of a trip for our customers providing customers with a dynamic travel quote and itinerary experience with a vision to improve the travellers end-to-end journey from departure to getting around and exploring the sights of local life.

The person we are looking for...

Umapped is seeking an Account Manager to join our team. This role involves servicing our growing customer base of travel agencies and companies as well as onboarding new partners.

What You’ll Do :

Build, manage, and grow strategic partnerships with users and travel agencies

Lead product demos and communicate with users and customers to answer their questions

Partner with our Customer Success team and Delivery Lead to define and deliver optimized end-to-end experience.

Manage and nurture our sales pipeline at all stages, from initial lead to close - warm leads.

Track, analyze, and communicate key metrics and business results that improve performance.

Collaborate with the marketing team on communications and web strategy.

Attend and exhibit at partner trade shows and conferences.

Support our sales team and pipeline for new accounts.

Communicate customer feedback and evolving needs to the product team.

The Ideal Candidate :

Has 3-5+ years’ experience in account management

Thrives in a high-paced environment

Has exceptional presentation, communication, and collaboration skills

Is highly organized

Has experience in the travel industry working with travel agencies

Relevant experience with SAAS software is a major asset

Is able to travel to conferences / events as needed

Bilingual communication skills in French or Spanish is an asset
