Pharmacy Technician Permanent Fulltime (Taupo) or Permanent Part-time (Rotorua and / or Taupo)

Lakes DHB have a vacancy for a highly motivated NZ Certified Pharmacy Technician wishing to join our small pharmacy team to support our clinical pharmacy and medication supply service.

We are willing to consider :

  • ONE full-time candidate situated in Taupo OR willing to work 1 or 2 days week in Rotorua and 3 or 4 days a week in Taupo
  • TWO part-time candidates one situated in Taupo 3 to 4 days a week and the other situated in Rotorua working 1 or 2 days a week.
  • It is preferable that you are able to work 8am to 4.30pm on the days you do work.

    It involves inpatient / outpatient dispensing, compounding, pharmacy stock control, maintaining imprest levels in all wards / units, ordering, repacking and ensuring compliance to quality standards.

    Successful applicants must :

  • Be a NZ Certified Pharmacy Technician Level 4, 5 or 6.
  • It would be an advantage if you :

  • Have a PACT qualification or be willing to train to become PACT qualified
  • Have had experience working in a small team
