We're an independent charitable trust that provides a support network for people that have a disability. As part of the Child, Youth and Respite service you will support infants, children and young people with a disability (and their families) in the greater Auckland area.

Our aim is to promote valued experiences in a safe environment and encourage the development of individual autonomy.

Goals are personalised and identify the needs of each child or young person in developing life skills that will strengthen their capability and confidence.

As a Registered Nurse you will part of a dedicated & enthusiastic team in one of our facilities in Mangere East. Part of this role is providing a service in a community setting that supports families with children (0 -5 years) who are medically fragile, or who have special needs by :

  • Providing education, respite care, transition and palliative care
  • Providing individual therapeutic programmes working alongside other paediatric health professionals
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy environment
  • Minimum Requirements :

  • Registered Nurse with the New Zealand Nursing Council and hold a current practising certificate
  • 2 years post grad experience preferably experienced with children
  • Some knowledge of disabilities
  • A full NZ drivers licence

    Please note this part-time role is for 8 to 16 hours per week.
