As the new spot in The Mount, expect a very busy, vibrant environment at Roxie’s. We are on the lookout for a Head Chef who can handle the heat! We are looking for the "thrill" cooks, someone who will smash it out of the kitchen with the team on a busy night and come out the other side together, proud of the work they’ve done!
What we’ll love about you :
You will ideally have 5+ years experience working in a busy kitchen and at least 2 years in a senior role
You will love a hectic, fast-paced environment and thrive under pressure!
You will have exceptional culinary skills with a passion for pushing the boundaries around your food offering
You will be an empowering and hands on leader the team will be keen to follow you and come along for the journey
You will be able to lead from the front during key services times - including weekends and evenings
You’ll have high personal standards which you encourage within your team
You will be energetic and enthusiastic with great communication skills
You can demonstrate previous success in leading and developing teams
It’s going to be full on from the start, so being organised and good with time management is key
You understand the numbers and have plenty of experience with controlling costs
From a compliance angle, you will have the ability to develop, and execute Food Safety plans and follow company procedures
