Job DescriptionTe Whiwhinga mahi The opportunityThe Administration Team Leader will coordinate the smooth running of our Waipārūrū Hall, which opened its doors for the first time in 2020, and is the largest fully catered hall in New Zealand.
Working closely with the Resident Manager and Head of Operations, you will coordinate the day-to-day operational, administration and facility maintenance of our Waipārūrū Hall.
This includes : Overseeing the administrative and financial management of the facilityLeading and supporting a team of 4 Receptionists and the 24 / 7 front of house operationsLiaising with internal departments and suppliers to ensure timely management of maintenance issuesEffective management of stock levels and ordering cyclesModelling excellence in customer service, health and safetyDemonstrating commitment to our equity valuesReviewing and amending process toolkits and providing training to the accommodation teamQualificationsNga Pūkenga Motuhake Important SkillsOur ideal candidatePrevious administration and people / team leadership experience in a complex environmentA high level of digital literacy, including Microsoft Office suite and financial systems Experience working for multiple stakeholders, offering a high level of serviceCommitted to, and passionate about equitable practices and outcomes for all students Previous experience in higher education or accommodation management would be advantageous but not essentialHave the ability to work flexible hours to ensure support is provided for weekend staff where requiredMore information about this role can be found in the Position Description.
