About the role

We're looking for an experience Registered Nurse to join the fabulous team at our St Andrews Village, Cambridge on a casual basis.

St Andrew's village is the most centrally located retirement village in Cambridge. The modern village sits on generous grounds adjacent to the historic St Andrews Church and the impressive shade trees of Te Koutu Lake Reserve.

Some of the things you will be doing

Clinical assessment, planning and implementation of nursing care

Effective communication and clinical problem-solving skills

Work collaboratively with other team members

Develop and review care plans in consultation with our residents and their families

Provide compassionate and high-level care

About you

You will appreciate how important this position is in delivering an outstanding service to our residents, so you will have empathy for the older person.

Current APC and first aid certificate

InterRai trained is highly desirable

Competent with medication management and administration techniques

Up to date knowledge of wound care management

Care, empathy, and compassion to the elderly

Able to work collaboratively within a Team Nursing environment
