As a Territory Manager you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships and providing a direct interface with the Veterinary and Pet Retail channel, servicing independent and national key accounts.

Following the Territory Management Plan, the Territory Manager will represent the Hill's brand through regular visits, meetings and seminars in order to achieve increased distribution, recommendation and sales.

We are currently recruiting for one Territory Manager vacancy and the successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets and territory objectives for the Pet & Vet Channels in the Auckland West / North & Northland regions.

As part of the territory, you will be required to travel to the regional areas every 4 weeks to maintain and grow business relationships with our regional customers.

  • Undergo a comprehensive induction and training program, learning about the company, culture and role
  • Develop your insights and experience into the dynamic Vet and Pet channels
  • Undergo world class internal sales training to build on your influence and negotiation skills
  • Be given the tools and opportunity grow your territory, optimise distribution and develop strong customer relationships
  • Attend sales meetings and conferences to connect with your team
  • The ideal applicant should have :

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Pharmaceuticals, Veterinary Science or similar
  • Exceptional relationship management skills and client focus
  • High motivation and personal drive to increase sales and build business relationships
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Intermediate or advanced computer skills - Microsoft Office and Google Suite proficiency (i.e, Sheets, Slides, Docs)
  • A valid driver's licence
  • Sales experience in Territory Management, Veterinary, FMCG or similar fields is highly regarded

    This role offers a competitive remuneration package including a fully serviced company car.
