We are looking for a motivated all-rounder to join a team of highly passionate staff who are responsible for the development and delivery of a programme of projects, events and campaigns that encourage people to get out of their cars and travel on more sustainable modes of transport.
THE OPPORTUNITYWe are seeking a Senior Travel Demand Planner to support the development, delivery, evaluation and monitoring of the Auckland Transport Travel Demand Programme.
If successful, you will work with businesses and organisations to promote sustainable forms of transport such as public transport, walking, cycling and flexible working.
This includes planning and executing marketing campaigns, managing events and creating innovative ways of promoting alternative transport.
Responsibility for programme and project management including business case development for effective delivery of projects and undertaking the necessary data collection, including monitoring and evaluation of programme, projects and initiatives are also key parts to this diverse role.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEWe are seeking a champion communicator with exceptional relationship building skills, able to easily establish effective working relationships across the organisation and with stakeholders.
Ideally, you'll have experience, knowledge and understanding of establishing partnerships, managing relationships and behavioural change as well as a genuine passion for sustainable travel initiatives across Auckland.
Experience managing programmes / projects, budgets as well as reporting and evaluating the effectiveness of projects are vital to your success in this role.
