Wellington City, WellingtonTemporary, ContractThis is a fixed term role for 12 months.The Information Systems and Services (ISS) Unit is looking for you, a Business Analyst, to be part of an Information Technology Managed Services (ITMS) Programme.
The expired ITMS agreement provided technology support, service delivery management and service aggregation for DOC's ICT requirements, including the integration of third-
party ICT services through a common service delivery framework.ITMS will be replaced with Service Integration and Management Services (SIMS) this year.
SIMS is a new framework for core IT services. Services will be procured by agencies via the new digital marketplace managed by DIA via a new construct based on service catalogues.
The design is intended to be flexible, to support the fast-moving IT service market, particularly public cloud services.
Projects included are : Core Services and Email.Security Services, Advisory Services and Service Design, and Application Development and Support.
Service Aggregation & SLA ManagementHelpdesk.Devices for Staff as a Service (Mobile devices).Profiles.With an enquiring mind, great communication skills and business analysis talent, you will work with us on developing the ITMS requirements in DOC to improve the quality and scale of success to deliver the intended benefits.
You will work across the business and be expected to engage with field rangers, planners, corporate managers, administrators, internal service providers and commercial vendors.
Of course, we expect you to be a great documenter and you'll use process design to drive efficiencies and effectiveness, knowing that you play your part in delivering better conservation outcomes for all New Zealanders.
This includes : being part of a motivated programme team and to assist the project manager in the development of business cases.

being part of the delivery of products into the business.You as the ideal candidate will : be an experienced business analyst with at least 10 years of working within ISS related projects.
have excellent business process, requirements management knowledge and skills.be excellent at engaging with business and technical teams.
have excellent documentation and writing skills.be well versed in BA good practice and processes.have specific skills in IT service delivery and best practice.
have worked alongside or demonstrated success completing business change assessments, design and implementation of change management into business groups.
Eligibility to work in New Zealand is mandatory, including a valid work visa covering the whole period of employment if applying internationally.
