The 3DHB ICT department supports Capital & Coast, Hutt Valley and Wairarapa District Health Boards. We are about to embark on a Digital Transformation journey and have adopted Microsoft 365 capability for collaboration and information management.

We have big plans and a bold vision of where we want to be. We are looking for a seasoned SharePoint on-line Administrator to be at the heart of our Microsoft implementation.

With our incumbent SharePoint Administrator and wider IM Team, you will use your extensive knowledge to tame the Microsoft 365 architecture with the design of IM policies, procedures and guidelines and their implementation and management within 365 while supporting users with targeted, practical support.

Duties

  • Champion the adoption of Office 365 capability as 3DHB roll out Microsoft 365 to support our Digital Workplace vision
  • Have your ear to the ground, communicating regularly with key stakeholders to understand adoption issues and user attitudes
  • Contribute to IM policies and procedures for the governance of Dynamic Groups, SharePoint Sites, Teams
  • Implement various compliance and policy configurations within the 365 architecture to support various Information Management, Information Security and related policy objectives
  • Contribute to the development of wider key performance indicators and develop reporting to monitor performance against them
  • Troubleshoot and resolve 2nd and 3rd tier system and user issues with a consistent process for incident / problem escalation and resolution
  • Support in-the-business SMEs in their role as 1st tier support
  • Work with various 3DHB ICT technical staff, s and / or contracted 3rd party providers in identifying areas for improvement and resolving issues
  • Participate in gathering and analysis of business requirements to support options, solutions and ongoing enhancements
  • Be passionate about what you do, continuously looking for new and better ways to support your users and achieve our Digital Workplace objectives
  • Skills & experience

  • Along with your strong experience with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint on-line, to be successful you will demonstrate initiative and drive;
  • empathy, with strong communication skills and a mentoring personality to understand and support the significant change we will be imposing on the business.

    Your personal arsenal of skills and experience may include the following :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Management or similar or equivalent work experience
  • Previous Microsoft 365 and SharePoint on-line administration experience
  • Understanding of core Microsoft 365 architecture as they relate to SharePoint on-line
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in a technical help desk or a customer service environment a plus
  • Previous SharePoint on-premise knowledge would be useful
  • A desire to learn and grow with the ever-evolving Microsoft Evergreen’ architecture
