Ideally you will have experience with patients on insulin therapies using multi-dose injection regimens.

There will be opportunities for working with those on insulin pump therapy and using continuous blood glucose monitoring as part of their diabetes management.

You may participate in running group education for patients as well as health care professionals in the future.

We place high value on our team members and fully support their on-going professional development. Working towards registered nurse prescribing as per Nursing Council of New Zealand would be an advantage and will be a requirement of this position.

The diabetes clinic core hours are from Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.30pm. We are not open on public holidays or weekends.

Actual hours of employment will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
