Sales Director Brand Marketing Partnerships NZ Live Nation is the world s leading live entertainment company comprised of global market leaders Ticketmaster Live Nation Concerts Live Nation Media Sponsorship and Artist Nation Management We are the largest provider of live entertainment in the world promoting more than 25 500 shows annually for 3 200 artists in 45 countries In New Zealand and Australia we deliver the best allround entertainment offering with huge international headline concert tours small boutique music events family entertainment comedy and music festivals We re currently on the search for our next Sales Director on a permanent full time basis to start early in the new year The role will be based in our Auckland office and reporting into our President of Brand Marketing Partnerships for AU and NZ The Role As Sales Director your role will be to deliver significant revenue through high value brand partnerships direct to clients in specified categories across the NZ portfolio of concerts and touring music festivals and venues You will be primarily responsible for selling high level partner programs and generating new business at a CSuite and Senior Brand Marketer level to blue chip clients You will also be responsible for understanding the business issues of NZ businesses and brands With this knowledge you and the broader Brand Marketing team will develop high value solutions to these issues then further liaising with the fulfilment team and other internal stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of the partnerships you create What you ll be doing Ensuring as part of the team that the agreed revenue target for events and total target is delivered Proactively creating partnerships with blue chip clients that provide revenue and additional benefits where possible to LN assets Providing forecasting and reporting of deal status and new business developments to the President of Brand Marketing Partnerships Negotiate partner agreements with clients and their agencies Liaise internally with promoters production and ticketing teams to ensure that what is offered to partners is deliverable Establish working relationships with external stakeholders to ensure strong product knowledge and appropriate partner programmes Offer clear instruction and assistance to fulfilment team if required in the handing over process for delivery Who and what are we looking for Proven track record in closing deals with new clients and sponsors and delivering high value partnerships direct to clients A people person using this capability to create and develop long term strategic relationships effectively translating this into successful sales Someone with high levels of energy and enthusiasm combined with professionalism passion and motivation to be the best Excellent established contacts and commercial relationships with blue chip clients Experience utilising market research and analysis to help actively persue new leads Thorough understanding of marketing marketing processes and value of IP rights to brands Strategic creative and determined individual What do we offer Ticket perks to our events Flexible working environment Health Wellbeing activities and programs Paid parental and volunteering leave Investment in your personal career development and training Be part of a global growing and exciting business Sound like the role for you Then apply now by sending us your resume and a cover letter telling us a bit more about yourself Have questions Get in touch with the Live Nation recruitment team at lnarecruitment livenation com au
