Our highly regarded Banking & Financial Services Division is looking for a motivated senior Transactional Banking lawyer to become part of their team in Auckland.

Joining this busy practice, you will be responsible for a challenging and interesting mix of work. The role provides the opportunity to develop your skills and progress your career in a top law firm with an excellent client base, including all the major banks.

It is suitable for an intermediate to senior lawyer (6+ years' relevant experience) with a background in general banking and / or insolvency, from another top tier law firm or financial institution.

Experience with the Credit Contracts and Consumer Finance Act would be beneficial.

All applicants should have a commercial approach, strong academics and technical skills, together with excellent communication skills that enable you to develop strong relationships.

You should also enjoy mentoring junior members of staff and be demonstrating leadership qualities, as well as enjoy participating in business development activities.
