Raygun is looking for a performance minded .NET engineer to help in delivering their next-generation Application Performance Monitoring (APM) product to .
NET developers everywhere.
You’ll have an understanding of the .NET CLR and CoreCLR, how profiling systems work, as well as have a strong understanding of writing high performance code (aiming for minimal profiling overhead).
Raygun’s cloud-based platform and tools enable software development organisations and teams to deliver exceptional value to businesses, and exceptional experiences to customers.
Raygun helps developers stay in front of application development and performance issues before they impact on end users.
As a Performance engineer your key focus will be :
The day-to-day development of the Raygun’s APM product
Working mostly in the C# code-base and improving the C++ profiler
Writing clean and performant code that can be unit tested
Working collaboratively with the team to get features deployed
Mentor junior developers and teaching good coding practices

Have an understanding of the .NET CLR and CoreCLR
Understanding of how .NET profilers work and have used a profiler previously
Strong knowledge of C#
Write maintainable, scalable, testable code, and will dive in to make existing code even better
Have good communication skills and are self-motivated
Can solve a problem in a number of programming languages
Keep up with new technologies, trying many of them out by building apps and coding, just for fun
Work independently or in a small team to deliver features on time and to specification
You'll work closely with a team of genuinely nice people, who will support you
