Manage thedelivery of capital and renewal projects from planning through consenting,design and construction to handover.
Theprojects will be diverse from transport to 3-waters infrastructure.
Select and lead project teams, enablingthem to perform at their best. Includes engaging and overseeing consultants andcontractors, and putting in place, administering contracts.
Define and tightly manage projectscope, schedule, budget, and risk with robust project reporting and financialoversight.
Operate as Engineers Representative atconstruction stage as required.
Engage with the community andform collaborative working relationships within Council and with contractors,consultants, regulatory bodies.
Your Skills :
A tertiaryqualification in Engineering, ideally with some formal Project Managementtraining.
5+ years of relatedexperience including project management of infrastructure projects.
Ideally haveexperience working in a local government setting, although this is notessential.
A focus on deliveryand achieving outcomes, collaborative work style, a good organiser anddecision-maker.
