This role will involve considerable MuleSoft development work, connecting, securing and interacting websites with various APIs, as well as web front end and containerisation where appropriate.
The inside word...
You will be joining and be able to learn from a close knit team of about 30 people in IT in-house with a mixture of skills and attributes.
Reporting to the application development manager you will also be working with a project team and other developers working collaboratively towards a common goal of adding value to their digital business lines.
Your role within the team will be a crucial part of their roadmap to develop products which support revenue generation for this already extremely successful business.
Why you're special...
You will have good general full stack development skills with a background in Java.
There will be significant MuleSoft (ESB Enterprise) development work so any experience here would be advantageous although not an absolute must have.
Knowledge of Financial Services (Insurance or Banking) would help with understanding the business requirements / logic.
REST API, MicroServices, Containerisation, Jenkins, Github, Unit testing, Linux and databases (MS or Oracle) also important.
Agile experience, as well as previous experience of working towards sound CI / CD practices.
