In the role of Structural Engineer you will ensure the reliability of Facilities & Services structures and systems contained within Vodafone technical facilities across Aotearoa.
What will I be doing?Reporting to the Facilities and Services DevOps Manager, and based anywhere within New Zealand, you will manage Incident, Change, and Problem tickets to achieve agreed KPIs.
You'll also take ownership of all Vodafone structures to ensure safety & compliance with relevant standards, and review all proposed changes to relevant structures by delivery teams.
You will ensure proactive maintenance activities are carried out to a high standard to achieve network stability, agreed performance metrics, and reduce customer-impacting events.
As and when required by capital plans, you will design and build Vodafone Facilities & Services capital projects. You'll manage internal, vendor, and support contractor relationships to achieve efficient & effective outcomes for customers by reducing mean time to repair, and also support / participate in a 24x7 callout roster as required.
What will I bring?To enable your success, you will need to have an expert knowledge of structural towers and requirements, with an excellent capability for analysis.
It is a requirement for the role that you hold a current Chartered status with Engineering New Zealand. You will bring your knowlege of telecommunications, power, and building technologies and products and services.
You have a proven track record in making a positive impact with internal & external customers as well as taking ownership for results.
