We are a well-established and growing professional construction company based in Auckland with major business focus on building high-quality and modern residential and commercial properties, and also interior fitout.

We are looking for a Project Manager in Auckland region to focus on residential and commercial projects. You must have corresponding qualifications and / or diplomas / certificates and ideally previous relevant work experience.

Your role will be ensuring that the project is running smoothly and efficiently. In order to be successful in this role, you will need to ensure monthly schedules are set and kept to, jobs are prioritized, and strict Health and Safety policies are followed.

Communication will be key.Key Responsibilities, but are not limited to : Interpreting architectural drawings and specificationsCoordinating labor resources, and procurement and delivery of materials, plant, and equipmentConsulting with Architects, Engineering Professionals and other professionals, and Technical and Trades WorkersNegotiating with building owners, property developers, and subcontractors involved in the construction process to ensure projects are completed on time and within budgetOperating and implementing coordinated work programs for sitesEnsuring adherence to building legislation and standards of performance, quality,cost, and safetyArranging submission of plans to local authoritiesBuilding under contract, or subcontracting specialized building servicesOverseeing the standard and progress of subcontractors' workArranging building inspections by local authorities Skills and Experience : At least 3+ years New Zealand residential or commercial experienceExperience in working in the same or similar roleExperience in working on multiple residential projectsProven leadership and management experienceLBP qualifiedThe ability to work to and meet deadlinesAbility to implement all aspects of health & safety Well organized, well-spoken, enthusiastic, motivated, honest, high level of integrity.

These are permanent full time position.At least 3 years’ related work experience is needed.Your salary will be $55-$80k depending on each individual.

Once recruited, you will be offered corresponding training and upskilling opportunities and the performances reviewed regularly and fairly.
