Reporting to the Technical Manager in the Kaiapoi plant near Christchurch, you will become an important member of the team working to develop new products, whilst improving existing lines.
As part of the team tasked with boosting food technology capability, you will demonstrate the desire and drive to see your concepts and products translate into production volumes and on to supermarket shelves.
Identifying and implementing process improvement is also a requirement for this role.
Your Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role it is preferable you will have a tertiary qualification in food technology or food science, with relevant career experience in meat or food development, and worked as part of a team to help manage new product succession from concept to launch.
The ability to work seamlessly with a wide range of people across the organisation is important. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail will help you succeed, as will an ability to demonstrate initiative.
