A day in the life of an Online champion involves the following activities : Manage, motivate, train and support the Online team, ensuring that best practice policies and operational procedures are followed at all times and always lead by example.
Effectively plan, monitor and prioritise work progress from the start of the picking order life cycle to completion of order by either Delivery and / or Click & Collect.
Communicate any feedback / issues to the store management, FSNI Online Operations team, and / or Service Solutions. Contribute to continual improvements and initiatives to help improve the overall quality of the online shopping experience.
Ensure Click & Collect and Delivery orders are completed correctly by adhering to standard operating procedures and ensuring that best practice guidelines for temperature checking and ID checking for restricted items are followed.
Review department, wage and shrinkage reports to set, manage and drive KPIs and targets with the Online team to achieve desired results for the department.
Ensure items picked, packed, processed and invoiced for a customer’s order is completed accurately and efficiently by adhering to standard operating procedures and ensuring that best practice guidelines for best before / use-
by dates, weighted items, restricted items and substitutions are followed.Adhere to the food safety, health & safety, security and compliance policies, guidelines and procedures for Ishop New World and the store.
About youTo be considered for this role, you will need to bring with you the following : At least 1-2 years’ experience as a department manager (online shopping role an advantage)Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritise and deal effectively with a number of tasks simultaneously.Ability to respond quickly to changing situations and work well under pressure while maintaining individual and team effectiveness.
Strong customer service orientationQuality focused with a passion for continuous improvementAttention to detail, planning, organization, and daily delivery requirementsIntermediate to advanced computer skills.
Is flexible and able to work across all days of the week when required.Physically fit and able to fulfil the requirements of the role.
