We are seeking a Kaimahi Hauora. Reporting to the Network Lead - Tairāwhiti , based in Te Tairāwhiti, this key role will provide stop smoking support in the community, GP practices and directly with whānau who want to become smokefree.
Who we’re looking for?
A passionate motivated self-starter who has experience working with whānau in the community, preferably with some previous exposure to the primary health care environment.
An individual who can demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail with excellent communication and relationship building skills.
A culturally responsive and inclusive team member who is respectful of diverse beliefs, protocols, and practices and is committed to the principles of Tikanga Māori.
You will be comfortable working in a forward-thinking environment where the one constant is change. You are agile, adaptable and future-focused.
An individual who has a high level of integrity and can ensure confidentiality of information.
Someone who is passionate about providing quality whānau centric health services to meet the needs of the whole whānau.
